音声入力でシャドーイング練習、ありかも！
勝間和代さんの上記記事を読んで、「音声入力ってそんなに使えるんだ！」と今さらながら気づきました。
今までは、子供達はiphoneやipadの音声入力を使いこなしているのですが、私は「手で打ったほうが早くない？」と思って食わず嫌いしてました。
でも、モノは試し、善は急げと、勝間さんが以前紹介されていたChromeの拡張機能「Voicein」を早速ダウンロード。
このアプリは、ボタン一つでいつでもどこでも音声入力できるという優れものです。
それで試してみたのが、英語動画を聴きながらのシャドーイング。
短めで聞き取りやすいものから見繕った以下のTED動画を聴きながら音声入力してみました。
結果は以下。

Voiceinを初めてつかったので認識させやすい話し方とか、改行や句読点の入れ方がわからなかったですし、一発勝負で動画はみないでやったので正直全然ダメでしたが、手で打ち込んでのディクテーションだと手の動きが全く間に合わないところ、音声入力であれば多少はスピード自体は追いつけたので、練習としてはいいかなと思いました。
比較的聞き取りは容易で短い動画でもこの精度か…と思うと萎えますが、でも何度も聴きこんで話者と同じスピード・抑揚・発音でシャドーイングできるようになれば相当力になると思いますし、その進捗を確認するのに音声入力機能は使えるのではないかな。
しばらく色々試してみます。
